About me

Bonjour… or perhaps I should say Hello!

I’m Sandrine, a French-English wedding photographer based in the beautiful French Pyrenees, photographing weddings throughout South-West France.

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve always been drawn to people, stories and genuine emotion. Beautiful photographs are important, of course, but it’s the connections between people that inspire me most.

My own story is shaped by two cultures. As a young adult, I left France to live in London, where I fell in love with the English language, British culture and a wonderfully different way of life. Those years became part of who I am. Later, with my young family, we chose to return to France in search of a slower pace, more time outdoors and the quality of life we wanted our children to grow up with.

Today, our family is still wonderfully Franco-English… right down to our English Cocker Spaniel!

Living between two cultures means I naturally understand both French and English couples. Whether we’re chatting in English or French, I want you to feel completely at ease from the moment we first meet.

Outside photography, I’m happiest exploring the mountains with my family, walking our dog, skiing, hiking or simply being outdoors. I’m an active person who finds endless inspiration in nature, changing light and the quiet beauty of the Pyrenees.

Photography has been part of my life for over twenty years, but for me it’s never been just about cameras. It’s about observing the little things that others often miss: a reassuring hand gently held before the ceremony, parents exchanging a smile across the room, children completely lost in the joy of the day, or the tears that appear just before laughter.

Friends often describe me as calm, observant and attentive to detail. I’ve always been deeply sensitive to emotion, and over the years my work in phototherapy has enriched the way I connect with people. It has taught me to listen carefully, to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves, and to recognise the quiet moments that often become the most meaningful photographs.

I believe the most beautiful images are never forced. They happen when you feel relaxed, understood and free to simply enjoy your wedding day.

Whether you’re planning an intimate mountain elopement, a château celebration or a relaxed countryside wedding, my wish is the same: to tell your story honestly, artistically and with kindness.

Because years from now, I don’t want you to remember how I asked you to stand.

I want you to remember exactly how you felt.

Capturer votre lumière, simplement.
